A more sustainable and liveable Singapore starts with you and me.
Follow these simple, easy tips to live greener!
In Our Homes
- Switch to energy-saving and water-efficient appliances to save on utility bills while being more climate friendly
- Reduce reliance on single-use plastics
- Bring your own bag when grocery shopping
- Say no to single-use cutlery when ordering takeaways

In Our Community
- Recycle right and help to reduce the waste we send to the fast-filling Semakau Landfill. Use:
- Alba e-waste bins for items such as old or spoilt LED light bulbs, batteries, cables, etc.
- Yellow textile bins for clothes and fabric
- Blue Bloobins for paper, plastic, glass, metal
- Enjoy fresh, locally grown produce
- Look out for the red SG Fresh Produce badges when grocery shopping
- Local produce has a smaller carbon footprint because it does not need to travel vast distances to reach us

- Look out for upcoming eco-activities around you such as tree-planting, community clean-ups, or compositing!
During Our Journeys
- Enjoy fresh air and an active commute by using our Park Connectors and sheltered walkways
- Opt for public transport to reduce emissions and air pollution
- Based on the Southeast Asian Climate Outlook 2024 survey (ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute), 67.8% of Singaporean respondents shared that they had made lifestyle changes to walk, cycle, or use public transport for the sake of climate action

Together, let us practise greener habits and preserve a liveable world for future generations! Through our actions, we are building a more sustainable Chua Chu Kang Town and a home we love.
