Public Consultation
Living Better, Building Better
The Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP) Public Consultation for Blocks 429 to 441, 429A Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 took place on Saturday, 5 October 2024. During the Public Consultation, not only were our residents given the chance to view the proposed improvement works through the exhibition boards, they were also given an opportunity to share and discuss their thoughts with the MP, Town Council and Working Committee.
Improvement Plans Unveiled
MP for Chua Chu Kang GRC (Keat Hong), Mr Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, was excited to share the key highlights of the NRP with residents. The architect then provided an in-depth presentation of the proposed plan, outlining the enhancements.
Additionally, the Town Council staff were on hand to engage with the residents, offering clarifications and insights into the proposed improvement works and answering numerous questions from the enthusiastic crowd.
Carnival Fun for All
Residents also enjoyed the refreshments, carnival treats, exciting games and performances together during the event, strengthening neighbourhood bonds and creating cherished memories.
Your Voice Matters
Residents casted their vote through the voting forms and selected their preferred facilities via the engagement boards. They were also able to provide suggestions on how they think the neighbourhood can be further improved. Residents’ suggestions and feedback will be taken into consideration for the revised proposal which will be revealed in the upcoming Consensus Gathering.
