The CCK Town Calendar Photo Contest is back!

This year, we’re celebrating the lush power of nature in CCK. We’re looking for 12 winning photos of nature’s best in CCK to grace our 2026 CCK Town Calendar.

Look up to the skies, forest bathe or explore the grassy trails in CCK Town. Enjoy the fresh air with family and friends, perhaps spot a new wildlife critter or two. The choice is yours, and we can’t wait to see what you’ll snap to win!

Read on for the contest details – there’s $1,700 worth of attractive prizes to be won, including AirPods, Beats, and JBL!

Contest Details:

  • Theme for photo contest: Living Well With Nature
  • Nature uplifts us in infinite ways: a breath of fresh air, a beautiful flower by a tree. Show us what living well with nature can look like, for example:
    • Greenery and green spaces, including our large and lush parks, community gardens, and pockets of nature
    • Stunning sunrises and sunsets
    • Wildlife or nature’s creatures
    • Fellow residents enjoying nature and how it can relax and rejuvenate us
  • Who can join? Any resident of Chua Chu Kang Town (i.e. residing in Chua Chu Kang GRC and Bukit Gombak SMC). Read the full Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this page.
  • How to submit your photographs? You can either use this online form here, OR email your photos to corpcomms@ccktc.org.sg by 5th October
  • Deadline to submit: 12th October 2025, 2359 hours
  • Winners will be revealed in December 2025!

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Contestants must be residents of Chua Chu Kang Town (Chua Chu Kang GRC and Bukit Gombak SMC).
  2. Photograph(s) submitted must be original and show a location in Chua Chu Kang Town.
  3. Each photograph must be submitted digitally, in landscape JPEG format, at least 300dpi and no larger than 25MB in size.
  4. All entries must be submitted to CCK Town Council by 12 October 2025, 2359 hours via the online contest form or by email to corpcomms@ccktc.org.sg.
  5. Entries must include the contestant’s:
    1. Name
    2. Mobile number
    3. Address, including postal code and the estate in CCK Town (eg Bukit Gombak, Brickland-Tengah, Chua Chu Kang, Keat Hong or Tengah)
    4. Email
    5. Location in CCK Town shown in the photo.
  6. Late entries will not be accepted and will be disqualified.
  7. Photograph(s) should not contain any objectionable content. The organiser shall have sole and absolute discretion to determine what is objectionable. Photograph(s) deemed objectionable shall be disqualified.
  8. The organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to exclude or disqualify any submission(s) and/or entry.
  9. Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by the Town Council. All decisions are final. No appeals will be considered.
  10. Photographs intended for any kind of commercial purpose must not be submitted.
  11. Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photographs is not allowed. Only basic enhancements, such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, conversion of colour images to black and white, are allowed.
  12. By participating in this contest, the contestant warrants that he/she has not trespassed into restricted areas and has prioritised the welfare of the subject (if applicable) in the photo, and has not obtained the photograph via any unethical means.
  13. Winners and contestants may be interviewed by the organiser and/or the media. All contestants consent to the public disclosure of their names and the results of the contest.
  14. By submitting an entry, the contestant gives CCK Town Council (and their employees, representatives, agents, and those they work with) an irrevocable, royalty-free and non-exclusive worldwide licence to:
    1. use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of the photographs submitted (such as those resulting from translations or adaptations); and
    2. communicate, publish, publicly display and distribute, such photographs in any format or medium, including digital, print, social media and online formats, for the Chua Chu Kang Town Council’s publicity, promotional and/or marketing purposes.
  15. Participation in the contest will require the collection, use, processing, and disclosure of contestant’s personal data (such as the name, mobile number and contact details). By participating in the contest, contestants consent to CCK Town Council’s collection, use and disclosure of personal data (to the Town Council’s service providers where required) for the purposes of conducting and administering the contest to fulfil its obligations under these Terms and Conditions, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
  16. Contestants below 18 years of age must obtain parental or legal guardian consent before entering the contest. Submission of an entry will be deemed confirmation that such consent has been obtained. In the event that a contestant below 18 is selected as a winner, CCK Town Council may request the name, contact number, and email address of the parent or legal guardian. Failure to provide the required consent or details may result in disqualification.
